It measures 11.4 by 16 by 14.3 inches (HWD) and weighs about 28.5 pounds. The MFP 178nw is essentially a pared-down version of the MFP 179fnw, sans an ADF and a few other features, such as the ability to send and receive faxes. Its low purchase price, though, makes it an attractive option for budget-strapped, low-volume small offices. The 178nw also costs more to use than several other competing models, and during testing it struggled a bit to reproduce some of our more complex color test documents.
